JADA PINKETT SMITH 2 MEN CLIMB ONTO HER BALCONY
The ‘Girls Trip’ star claimed there two men in hoodies attempting to break into her LA home.
After a chaotic 2023, Jada Pinkett Smith is probably looking to find some peace and quiet in 2024. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case recently as the “Set It Off” actress found herself in a dangerous situation while at home.
According to TMZ, Jada claimed that two men wearing hoodies tried to break into her home by climbing onto her balcony, but “were scared off” when she saw what they were doing. By the time police responded to the incident, the suspects were gone, but “deputies took an attempted burglary report.”
There are no details on whether this was a crime of opportunity against an affluent home, or if the “Red Table Talk” host was specifically targeted. There is also no word on whether Jada was home alone or if she had any guests.
As you’ll recall, back in October, the “Gotham” actress dropped the surprise bombshell that she and husband Will Smith have been separated for years. They’ve been living separately since 2016, so it’s not shocking to hear that the Oscar winner wasn’t present at the time of the alleged break in. Will is also currently working on the upcoming films “Bad Boys 4” and “I Am Legend 2,” which means he could be off filming on location.
Jada was the subject of very vocal backlash after she revealed details about her past, her relationship with Tupac Shakur and her marriage while promoting her memoir “Worthy.” Some people felt that she was too open about private matters, while others didn’t like the way she spoke about Will. No matter how you feel about the “Girls Trip” star, we hope you can agree that she doesn’t deserve to be afraid in her own home.
This incident is another stark reminder for women—regardless of their wealth or fame—to stay alert and be aware of your surroundings at all times.
