In the fascinating world of baking, we are always looking for clever tricks that transform our usual recipes into surprising creations. Today, I’ll reveal a secret that will change the way you prepare your marble cake: placing cups in the pan!

This clever trick not only creates a visually appealing pattern, but also adds a magical touch to your recipe, making it unique. Are you ready to be amazed by this great idea? At the end of the recipe, you can find the video.

How to prepare a different mixed or marbled cake

Ingredients: (Cup Size: 200 ml)

  • 1 cup of sugar (160 g)
  • 4 cups of flour (400 g)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (14 g)
  • 3/4 cup cooking oil (150 ml)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk (200 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar or essence (5 g)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (25 g)

For Coverage: (Cup Size: 200 ml)

  • 1 1/2 cups condensed milk (395 g)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (25 g)

In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour and baking powder. Add the oil and eggs, beating until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. Add the milk and vanilla sugar, continuing to mix until all the ingredients are well combined.

Dividing the Dough: Separate the dough into two equal parts in two different bowls. In one of the bowls, add the cocoa powder and mix until you have a deliciously aromatic chocolate mass.

Place three glasses with their mouths facing down in the mold you will use to bake. This clever trick will shape your cake in a unique way.

Alternately pour portions of the vanilla dough and the chocolate dough into the hole left in the center of the glasses. The magic happens when we remove the glasses, revealing a uniquely designed marble pattern.

Baked

Place the mold in the oven preheated to 180° C and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Preparation of the Topping: While the cake is cooling, mix the condensed milk with the cocoa powder. Mix with a mixer until it thickens a little. This delicious topping will perfectly complement the flavor of the cake.
Pour the topping over the cooled cake, allowing it to drain elegantly down the sides.

With this clever trick, your marble cake will be transformed into a culinary masterpiece. The simple placement of the glasses creates a visually striking pattern that will impress everyone, turning your kitchen into a laboratory of creativity and deliciousness.
